Dr. Minna Sreedharan
It was in 2009 when I had first stepped into OOB Sharjah. I was an extremely shy kid back then. Coping with new surroundings and new people was difficult. Those were challenging times for 9 year old me. But things got better with time. My teachers were really helpful and I was able to express myself a lot more as the years passed by. I learned to step out of my shell.
The school had helped me discover and nurture my passion for singing. Delivering a speech for a crowd or being a part of a cultural event was unimaginable to me a few years back. But OOB had altered this for me.
I was also provided with the opportunity to serve as a prefect for two consecutive years. Working with Sam Sir and my fellow prefects had taught me a lot on how to work well as a team and helped me grow as a person.
The progress that I had made during my years at OOB was tremendous and I am extremely grateful to all of my teachers and friends for the same. Over 9 years have passed, since I left Our Own and a lot has changed over the years, but all of the sweet memories remain etched within 2009 - 2015. Those were certainly the good old days.
Today, I am Dr. Minna Sreedharan, a graduate from Government Medical College, Kozhikode and currently preparing for my post graduate medical entrance examination.
