Generation Global Video Conference on Future of Work

The Generation Global Video Conference for the academic Year (2023-24) on the topic 'Future of Work' was held on 14th February from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.. Under the guidance of facilitator, Mr. Neil Phillipson, participating schools from Indonesia, Philippines, Ukraine and India along with students from OOB, came together for this global exchange.

During the conference, students first shared their opinions about the skills for the future and impact of technology. They also discussed the pivotal role of technology, including artificial intelligence(AI), on future job and the challenges associated with them. They confidently articulated their thoughts thereby fostering a rich and engaging dialogue.

Following these initial discussions, a question and answer session allowed students to clarify their queries, share their insights, and gain an enriching experience. This interactive session further strengthened their understanding about future of work and encouraged a more profound connection among the participants.

The conference underscored the importance of continued dialogue, collaborative action, and empowering the next generation to be catalysts for positive change. It provided students, a dynamic platform for insightful discussions and shared experiences and also prepared them to take proactive steps to prepare for their future careers.
