The Rights of Girls and Women

On January 29, 2024, a group of nine students from Our Own Sharjah Boys participated in a video conference that focused on the theme of 'The Rights of Girls and Women'. The conference brought together students from India, Indonesia, and the United Arab Emirates.

The video conference proceeded smoothly without any technical difficulties, allowing for a seamless exchange of ideas and experiences. In an effort to create a comfortable and open atmosphere, the facilitator invited a few students to share stories about influential women in their lives. 

Throughout the session, the students engaged in discussions, sharing personal experiences and observations about the lives of girls and women in their respective societies. Various issues such as inequality, violence, and education were brought to the forefront, with each student highlighting a specific challenge. 

In conclusion, the video conference demonstrated a commendable understanding of the significance of the topic, and expressed valuable insights into gender inequality while appreciating diverse perspectives.
