Book Café by Senior Middle School Literary Club

The Middle School ‘In Conversation With’ series was hosted by the boys of grades 7 & 8 of the Senior Middle department. A most insightful and meaningful conversation took place, in the school library, between our boys and our Principal & CEO, Mr. Srivalsan Murugan. The dialogue commenced with commentaries on the works of Ruskin Bond and then move onto the larger writing canvas and the realms of creative writing.

The event was also graced by the Vice-Principal, Ms. Sindhu P Nair, Head of Primary School & Kindergarten, Ms. Priya Sajit, Supervisors Ms. Sofi (grades 5&6), Ms. Jessy (UAE National Agenda, Moral Education and UAE S St) and Mr. Shane J. Alliew (grades 7&8). Members of the SLT and SMT also had an opportunity to articulate their thoughts along with the boys, which saw an immensely fruitful exchange of views.

The series continues to prove to be an outstanding platform for students to engage in meaningful discussions even as the event aims to nurture critical thinking, encourage open dialogue, and provide a safe space for students to express their thoughts and opinions. This inclusive approach fosters a collaborative learning environment, empowering students to voice their perspectives on a wide range of topics.
