Career Fair 2024

The Career Fair aims to provide students with exposure to various educational institutions and career options, facilitating informed decision-making regarding their academic and career pathways. This initiative is essential in today’s competitive landscape, where students need guidance to navigate their future educational and professional choices effectively. 

The Career Fair held at Our Own English High School Sharjah Boys’ on 14th September, 2024 aimed to provide students from Grades 9 to 12 with valuable insights into higher education, career paths, and admission processes. 

The event commenced with addresses by the Principal and Vice Principal, emphasizing the importance of career guidance in shaping students' futures and the necessity for informed decision-making. Students from our neighboring school, Sharjah Indian School also participated from Grades 10 and 12. The event featured six guest speakers from various consultancies, engaging parents and students on topics such as UCAS applications, portfolio development, trending careers, NEET and JEE entrance exams, scholarships and SAT preparations. A total of 25 stalls showcased universities from the UAE, India, and several consultancies, where students had one-on-one meetings with university representatives for detailed information on admission processes, deadlines, scholarship opportunities, and course offerings.
