Industrial Visit to SIFS

As part of the In-House Internship Programme, Grade 11 students, guided by Mr. Shuhail Thayyil and Ms. Nasrin Shaikh, visited the Smart Finishing Insulation Finishing System (SIFS) on 17th and 24th October 2024.During the first session, Dr. Bejay Jayan, Technical Director at SIFS, and Mr. Suneer Hakeem, General Manager at Prime Seal Insulation, delivered an engaging presentation on sustainable building technologies. This included an in-depth exploration of smart wall panels, Net-Zero Energy research, and the Building Envelope Analyzer. The second session provided a hands on experience with polyurethane spray foam technology, highlighting machine operations and thermal conductivity testing. These visits offered students a unique opportunity to delve into sustainable innovations and gain practical exposure to real world engineering applications.
