THE NEW-AGE SUSTAINABLE YOUTH I Can! National Summit 2024

The ‘I Can’ National Summit 2024, held on June 24th, was hosted by Gems Modern Academy and featured a range of competitions aimed at promoting sustainable practices and environmental stewardship among students. The event included three main categories: the FIDS Innovation Challenge, a Sustainable Fashion Show, and a Themed Terrarium competition. 

Eleven enthusiastic students from Grades 10 and 11 represented our school with vigor and passion. In particular, the five-member team comprising Sreehari Deepu Nair (11D), Mohammad Ayyan Zahir Mullaji (11A), Swamidas Nair (11G), Parthasarathy Pramod (11D), and Vedas Kishore (11H) excelled in the FIDS Innovation Challenge. Their project, 'EcoFiltr'—an innovative solution designed to combat air pollution—impressed both the judges and the audience, earning them the First Runners Up position. The team's meticulous presentation and creative approach were highly praised, showcasing their commitment to innovative thinking and environmental responsibility.
