CollARTboartive Meet

On 12th September 2024, The Millennium School hosted the much-anticipated ‘CollARTborative Meet 2024,’ organized by The Visual Arts Council of the school. The event was from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the school’s Multi-Purpose Hall, with the theme "Celebrating Culture". 

OOB sent six students Parthasaradhy Pramod -11D,Jeon Johnson - 11E,Swamidas Nair - 11G,Theophin Biju Joseph - 11C,Sreehari Deepu Nair - 11D,Aaron George Vinay - 11 B accompanied by Ms. Annie George. The event was not a competition or contest, with an emphasis on networking, interaction, and creativity, rather than competition between students. The teams worked on mashups that blended their respective cultures, with some choosing to showcase the unique elements of their countries, while others embraced the theme of global culture, in the process of crafting diverse artworks.

A key highlight of the day was the Watercolour workshop conducted by the renowned artist    Mr. Atul Panase. His guidance offered our students a hands-on experience in learning new watercolour techniques, with many thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to explore this medium for the first time. Our boys thoroughly enjoyed this event and learned many new techniques from it that will be greatly helpful to them in the future.
