Kindergarten Parent Orientation

The Kindergarten team recently hosted on-site orientation sessions for parents of KG1 and KG2 students. The KG1 session took place on March 27, 2024, followed by the KG2 session on April 1, 2024. These sessions aimed to familiarize parents with the curriculum, school rules, and regulations for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year, providing a valuable opportunity for students and parents to connect with their teachers in a welcoming environment.

The Orientation Sessions were conducted onsite at the OOB Sheikh Zayed Multi-Purpose Hall. Ms. Livia and Ms. Nikhath, representing the speaker panel, warmly welcomed the students and their families. The session commenced with opening remarks from the Principal and CEO, Mr. Srivalsan Murugan, and Vice Principal, Ms. Sindhu. Following this, Ms. Priya, Head of Primary and Kindergarten, and Ms. Raisa, Kindergarten Supervisor, provided a comprehensive overview.

This overview covered various aspects such as the school's vision and values, the Kindergarten curriculum, academic requirements, extracurricular activities, school policies and procedures, and the school's facilities. Additionally, parents were informed about parent involvement opportunities, aligning with the school's 'Family First' initiative. A Q&A session concluded the event to ensure all questions were addressed.

As the orientation concluded, parents were encouraged to reach out with any further questions or concerns and to continue their partnership with the school in supporting their child's growth and development. Resources and contact information were provided to facilitate ongoing communication and collaboration.
Furthermore, parents had the opportunity to meet their child's teacher during an online "Meet and Greet" session.
