Navigating the Adventure Together: Primary Parent Orientation
The Primary school successfully conducted parent orientation sessions for Grades 1 and 2 on April 1, 2024, onsite in the Multipurpose Hall (MPH), and for Grades 3 and 4 on April 27, 2024, online via MS Teams. Titled "Navigating the Adventure Together," these orientations aimed to provide parents with comprehensive insights into the curriculum, teaching methodologies, and assessment strategies utilized in the respective grades.
The objectives of the orientations were twofold: to familiarize parents with the school's academic framework and to outline the roles they can play in supporting their child's educational journey. During the sessions, parents received detailed information about the school's policies, procedures, and expectations for students, ensuring a transparent understanding of the school's academic and disciplinary standards. Both onsite and online platforms facilitated interactive discussions between parents, school administrators, and teachers. Parents had the opportunity to ask questions, seek clarifications, and engage in meaningful conversations about their child's education. This interactive format encouraged active participation and fostered a sense of community between the school and parents.
Overall, the parent orientation sessions were instrumental in strengthening the school-home partnership and equipping parents with the resources they need to actively engage in their child's educational journey. The success of these sessions underscores the school's commitment to promoting student success through collaborative efforts between educators and parents.
